Final Destination Bloodlines

This one wasn't for me.

Yes, despite its surprisingly positive reception, Final Destination Bloodlines didn't really work for me personally.

The story is a bit silly, the tone is a little campy, the CGI is noticeably bad, the characters aren't too interesting; and all of that waned on my overall experience with the film.

Thankfully, Kaitlyn Santa Juana does a fine job of leading the film. It's just unfortunate that the other cast members don't stand up to her performance. Tony Todd does make a fantastic final appearance though. Which is nice. But that doesn't change the fact that Final Destination Bloodlines is an incredibly silly film.

Sure, that silliness can be rather fun and engaging - it may even make this the best Final Destination film to date - but that tone just didn't appeal to my own personal taste.
