A House of Dynamite

There's no denying that A House of Dynamite is an incredibly well-made film.

The directing is solid, the performances are great, the story is tense, and the message is terrifyingly relevant.

Unforuntately, those elements don't come together to form a satisfying fictional narrative.

So, while I commend Kathryn Bigelow for always trying to say something socially significant, I don't think A House of Dynamite makes for a particularly good movie.
