Under the Same Moon

Under the Same Moon may be a bit sappy - and even emotionally manipulative at times - but that doesn’t stop it from being a heartwarming little film.

Unfortunately, the harsh realities of today’’s political climate did make the movie feel difficult to watch at times. But that difficulty also makes the movie feel important. Probably more important now than it was when it was first released. Which is crazy.

So, thanks to the relevant themes, and undeniably strong performances, Under the Same Moon tells a resonating story that will stick with me for a long, long time.
