Bugonia

Bugonia is another wild and crazy film from director Yorgos Lanthimos.

And, while his particular style may not always be my personal cup of tea, I can't deny that I actually really enjoyed this movie.

The story is undeniably engaging, the themes are surprisingly topical, the characters are incredibly fascinating, and the performances are all outstanding. All of which made for an entertaining - and even thought-provoking - experience.

So, while I'm not sure if the movie ends on a particularly satisfying note, I'm glad that it at least has something important and socially relevant to say.
